About LinkBacksI was using my nav while I was in Los Angeles all this week to get around and it worked flawless!!!!! I had to go pick my daughter up last nite in the country and I had to navigate some gravels while it was snowing, I noticed that the nav background is black at night and yellow during the day now. Was this new with the update?

02-07-2010 01:28 PMSure was! My biggest complaint was that there wasn't a night-mode, and then comes the new update with pinch-to-zoom in map view AND night-mode!

02-07-2010 03:34 PMof course garmines ahead of google with most things navigation wise because thats all garmin is for is navigation. in the little time google navigation has been around its a great service. i used to think vz navigator was a good phone navigation service for what it was but this just blows it out of the water along with many other software.

02-08-2010 11:34 AMThat's BS. I've used a lot of nav programs over the years. They've all had night modes. Night mode is based simply on the time of day, not that you're navigating vs just looking at the map. That's a rookie mistake.
