    no you wont nothing will change except you will have a new app call "super user permission" check out this thread before you do any thing and take your time there is no rush

    You get this little guy (see attached pic) added to your app drawer.

    If you install a ROM your home screens might get cleared off but you will have all of your apps and data still on the phone. This is not a bad thing because if you run a ROM like Bug-less beast and get the 2 additional screens you will want to take time to re-org everything.

    I rooted installed petes bugless beast and overclocked last week. I used this thread as a guide...

    How-to: Install bugless beast for noobs!

    I read the all the instructions several times...I downloaded all the files to my laptop..and I read thru the thread to see where others were having issues...and then I made sure that I understood everything. then i did it...and it went with out a hitch and I am very pleased with myself!
