    SD Card?

I keep seeing a reference to a memory card configuration, but I don't see anyplace where it would physically go, unless it is (heaven forbid) under the battery?

The SD card is located behind the battery cover above the battery.

There is a silver section above the battery behind the battery cover. On the left is the SD card's location.

From BGR (down and just to the right of the camera):

It is like the BB Curve and requires a battery pull to change the SD card.

I never did understand why they would make replaceable SD cards (or any card) require the battery to be pulled out. It's unfortunate. Tho, 32GB cards are quite a bit! But I could see where you can carry around a couple cards with movies, pics, and perhaps 32GB of music you like to rotate thru.

Minor engineering flaw, I'd say, but thank you so much for the explanation.

May not be a flaw (by engineering standards but by usability standards) as they had to do a ton of cramming and tetris playing to get the phone to be this small.

Also Bearlaw I think that phone section is for your phone model not your phone number unless that is what you want to be there.

I also think they did it in hopes of getting Apps2SD working correctly via the Android Open Source Project.

By tucking away the SD card and forcing a battery pull the phone cannot crash if the memory card is removed since the battery is already out and the phone is off.
