    Speed dial that is really speed dial

    How do i create a speed dial icon on my home screen that doesn't ask me to decide if i want to text or call? when I make a favorites list, it still give options. I just want one click and call like my original droid.
    I'm beginning to miss my old phone.

    Long press on the screen, select shortcut, direct dial and then select the number of the contact...

    I dont have a direct dial option. Any other ideas?

    Got it! After shortcuts I clicked on app actions and then found direct dial.
