Pardon me for this dumb question

realizing that 4g lte is a MUCH faster download, i was wondering does 4g also give you better connectivity. if an area i'm in has bad 3g connection in general, will 4g solve this problem?,,,,or is it just a speed thing.

Im not sure but I think it's more of a signal thing. I have never came across a situation that the 3g signal was weak and the 4g was strong. I think they run off the same towers but Im not sure about that. If they did it would explain this happens.

The connection is usually as strong as the 3g signal, depending on your location of course. As for reliability, 3g is far more reliable in my book, especially after the events of December regarding 4g.
