i'm getting an authentication prompt

i've been getting authentication screens where i have to copy an authentication code A LOT lately. past month sometimes twice a day. it doesn't seem to be tied to anything, ie i can access my gmail without typing in the code, so i don't know what this is for.

anyone else?

Is it a 2 digit code?

it's one of those two word codes that i have to copy. there's three codes i have to copy...i guess because i'm using three gmail accounts. btw,,,,i don't know if there's a connection but my chrome's bookmarks have not been syncing between computers either.

also btw, my accounts are all set to synce

That's strange. You should only have to enter it once if you have it save your pw. And no 3rd party apps linked to gmail? Check under your accounts.
