Ringtones in Music Player

Not sure where else to put this, tried in the Droid Charge forums but got no answers so I'll try here. (Copy/Pasted old post, phone is Droid Charge obviously)

Originally I had my sdcard setup like this: /sdcard/DCIM/Music and /sdcard/DCIM/Ringtones. I decided to clean up my memory card and moved the Music and Ringtones folder to the root of the sd card (around the same time as the GB update so I'm not sure which part caused the ringtones to be in my Music player). I moved my folders back to how I had it originally and they are still in the Music Player (they show up double also but there's only one folder with one file for each ringtone). Anyone know what to do so that my ringtones don't show up in my Music Player? It is very, very annoying...

I also have a Charge and have read much about this Ringtone storage. Problem is that I can not recall where I was reading what. I do remember that there is a precise storage instructions on sd card and it is delineated in Android SDK Developers site but darned if I can find it now.
