Unwanted Sales Messages in Notification Area

I've go a Motorola DroidX with Verizon as Carrier and I keep getting sales messages in my notification area. How can I block them??

Those messages come from one of the apps you have downloaded. There is an app on the market that can find out which one it is but for the life if me I can't remember what its called.

Do you have the app called MP3(An app that you can download free songs)? That is what was causing my issues!

No I don't. I installed Air Push Detector and it led to the app I downloaded called MySettings which I find very useful because it puts a shortcut on the Home Screen which allows me to instantly change all of my settings like Airplane Mode, Ringer Mode, Wi-fi,etc. Now, I've got to see if I can find a good replacement.
