11-10-2009 08:37 AMYeah, it happened to me over the weekend. No mail notification and when I opened up GMAIL randomly, I had new messages from hours earlier.

11-10-2009 11:27 PMUnfortunately this is the way the Droid works. If you have received a previous email and have not cleared your notification status bar, all subsequent emails from then on will not be audible. I hate the implementation and hopefully google will change that or some market guru would make a better notification app if not already done.

11-10-2009 11:37 PMYeah which is something i hope they fix. Each email should be alotted another notification (tone that is) keeping them grouped in the notification bar is fine with me.
