Okay..After failed attempt at using sweeterhome and a theme on it. My phone wont go past the red eye. How can I uninstall the application and get my phone back running normally?

did you pull the battery? Happened to me last night and I pulled the battery for about a minute or so.

That's AWESOME. I was going to try to make a theme today. Where did you get the icon? I really like them (sorry if it's a dumb question, like if they are already included in the theme builder, haven't played much with it yet).

Have you uploaded it yet? Please update us when you do. I'd like to use that until I get mine up and running.

That hasn't been answered yet (least that I've seen). That's one reason I was going to wait but after using a few themes I'm going to go ahead and go with it. To be honest I will probably hold off a bit on the 2.1 update (a few days) just to be sure it works and doesn't break to much. Worse case we may have to wait a few days for the guys over at Sweeter to make some minor changes. But it's a great question I wish more developers would start to address.

Ugh I just uploaded it but I don't know if you should download it since it seems to lag my phone extra. I don't know why the only thing I can think of is that I used images this time instead of making it entirly in sweeter home.

EDIT: Ok I figured out what was causing it. It was the picture I was using as the wallpaper on each screen, I'm going to fix and re-upload it without the image causing the problem.

Which icon are you referring to? and I'm not sure if it's compatible with 2.1, might have to ask Lemon about that one.

Holy Jessus, this just happened to me and it took me 3 restarts and 3 battery pulls until it finally booted past the red eye. I thought I was a goner for sure.

The icons that were on the bottom of the last pic you posted (the big black square looking buttons).

I'll look for your reloaded theme after dinner or later tonight. Thanks for all the work (if you get around to it update your post to let us know it's stable, I'd rather not have to do battery pulls lol ).

Also I think it should be good to go now. I'm still getting a lot of FC when I try to edit the theme though I don't know if it's the theme or just my phone cause this theme was a nightmare with all the FC I was getting while trying to edit stuff. Also if you do install it can you tell me if your messages are showing up in the left screen, mine won't show up no matter what I do.

I have a headache...This is going to be my last "complex like" theme until SH2 gets more stable. If I do make a theme its going to be really simple lol.

I'll post screenshots tomorrow of how I've set it up on mine.

Also I think it should be good to go now. I'm still getting a lot of FC when I try to edit the theme though I don't know if it's the theme or just my phone cause this theme was a nightmare with all the FC I was getting while trying to edit stuff. Also if you do install it can you tell me if your messages are showing up in the left screen, mine won't show up no matter what I do.

I haven't tried to 'create' a theme yet but I have done some basic editing to the default theme and didn't have the program FC once. But it could be something more complex like the springboards or something (I didn't get into those yet). While I like things to be easy to get to and fast I don't care for too much complexity or "flash."

Update: Got it loaded. It seems to be running great. Nice and smooth and everything things to load fast. I don't use txt messaging though (only via GV so if it's txts you're trying to check you'll need someone else). Does that left screen actually communicate with the forums or it is just skins? I could see any way to configure anything (like where it says add icon or screenname). Looks great overall, thanks for the hard work (and thanks for not using an 'overlaying' wallpaper, I really like the wallpaper I have and most of the other themes have something overlaid on top of it for the homescreen, it was annoying me). Thanks again. Looking forward to your 'simple' layout in the future.

Cool glad it's working ok. I had to uninstall sweeter home and reinstall to see if it would make my life easier somehow. I got stuck in a red droid eye loop for thirty minutes, I was just about to do a hard reset and bam there went the unlock-screen, seems like I got lucky yet again lol. unfortunately I now forgot my password :\ lol Anyway. No it doesn't connect to the forum you have to plug-in your username at the three places, and for fun put in your avatar lol. I hope you have find them easily they're kinda buried in layers of mush (I really wish there was a way to hide layers while your editing so it'll be cleaner and faster to edit.

I find setting the layers to 1 through 10 helps when working. It will default to the highest number layer when pressing.

HUH?? This hasn't crashed on me yet (while, once in the theme editor, but never running the Home app). Home++ would crash every time I brought the phone out of sleep (though it did work flawlessly for several days, then for no reason it started crashing regularly... I hadn't installed any new apps or changed any settings, it just got corrupted somehow). Here's hoping the same thing doesn't happen with Sweeter Home.
