Turn off the phone, take out the battery, take out the SD card, put it back in, put the battery back in, and power up your Droid. Problem solved.

Or when you try to mount it to the computer again, the computer won't recognize it?

If the latter, just unplug the USB Cable from the computer or DROID, and reconnect it.

I'm pretty sure he means that the computer won't recognize it again. I've had this problem too. The computer just gets mad and decides to not read it again... But a simply unplugging of the droid from the cable does the trick.

Just pull down your notification bar and you'll have the option to mount it again. No unplugging, power cycling, battery pulling, etc. required.
