    SDK screen capture please help!

    ok, I found this walkthrough Droid Screen Capture – How To Droid Bugs to install everything needed to do screen capture with the Android SDK. I followed it word for word and had no problems doing the install. Now when I launch the ddms it will not find my device. I am at a total loss at this point and any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

    Not sure how much this will help as I have an iMac and I didn't have to go through quite so many steps to get to the screen capture. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you highlight the device in the Delvik Debug screen. If you notice in his screen shots the device is highlighted there, right where the little phone is located on the left side. Right at first I had the same problem until I realized I hadn't highlighted the device. If it's not that, then I'm not sure what to suggest. Mine was real easy, so unfortunately I can't offer much else in the way of suggestions. Good luck!

    no I wish it were that simple, the device isn't even showing up in the DDS
