WoW...
Nice find..
More rumors...
I can't even count how many times the iPhone was coming to Verizon.
Quoted from the linked article:
"Droid reviews have largely described it as a second place alternative for users who want to stick with Verizon. That being the case, the prospect of a Verizon iPhone appears poised to deflate Droid sales this holiday season."
What a load of bull****. Who would've guessed that this quote came from a website dedicated solely to Apple products?![]()
Yea right. I wouldn't believe any of that.
Give Google time for about 2 OS Updates for the Droid before Q2, 2010, and the iPhone will be a relic...
The Gunny
It's not news that Apple and Verizon have been trying to figure out how each could make money by working something out together. What I thought was interesting was the details of what the Verizon iPhone might look like. If you've just gotten a Droid and a 2 year contract, I would not like hearing that either. The other piece is the Verizon "special" ETF for the Droid and some of their other high end smart phones. That's what stopped me from ordering a Droid more than the off chance that iPhones will be coming in 3Q 2010.
for advanced phones such as the Droid and similar smartphones, the Early Termination Fee will begin at $350 and decrease by $10 per month per line, starting November 15.
Doesn't sound good that the Verizon version might have a 2.8" LCD screen instead of the 3.5" screen that is currently on the device.
I agree. Not saying the iPhone is a bad device, it was way ahead of its time when it came out. However, I do feel that most people who have an iPhone will stick with ATT for their iPhone needs. And the people who get the iPhone on Verizon will be those that want one because they wanna be apart of the "cool" iPhone crowd. I truly wish Verizon wouldn't pick it up and stick with being one of the main Android supporting networks. There is huge potential for lots of great things that can come from a huge network of Android users. Just my 2 cents worth. -Mitchell
