K9 + pop3 =???

Downloaded K-9 2308 thought I would give it a try, and have found that I can't setup a POP3 account?
I keep getting a error message:
Invalid Setup: Null

I'm running a pop3 without issue.
Outgoing server is SSL (always)
port 465 require sign in checked

Incoming server has same security type but port 995.

I have mediacom for my pop3 others may differ. I know there are other threads about pop3.

I don't even get to the point of setting up the server info.
I tap on the next arrow option at the bottom when opened K-9, then I add my email address and password.
Press next and get Invalid Setup:Null, nothing more no other options then the back at the bottom of the screen...

I have tried auto, and manual setup and get the same Invalid Setup:Null after I tap on Setup POP3 on the page that says: "What type of account is this?".
