Just as the title says, what ONE function drew you to or sold you on the Droid?

No cheating, think about it and narrow it down to one.

For me, the instant I saw OPEN SOURCE. I was sold.

I knew very little about Android before researching all this, so I guess Open Source = Android, either way, thats what sold me and rest is just BONUS goods.

Beastly screen resolution. Best mobile web experience I have ever seen hands down. Even if the browser is slightly slower than safari, it has to render more than 2x the amount of data!

Slider Keyboard, for an uncluttered screen for texting, browsing, the use of my applications without the virtual keyboard in my way. I am tired of only being to see a sliver of the screen whenever I have to enter data.

All the rest of the stuff, is just icing on the cake to me.

I was always considering the Droid from the time i heard about it long ago back in the Sholes/Tao days. However the one thing that really caused me to KNOW i wanted it was when I heard about Google Nav
