    Reboot as mentioned. If that is not it, have you installed any new apps lately? Does it blink for anything...missed calls, missed sms, email etc?

    If your using the stock SMS app, open the app, then menu key, scroll down check your notification settings....

    thanks everyone i will check and it seemed to stop after installing touchdown.

    Touchdown does not do the LED by default for its notifications. You have to enable it in the settings menu. The cool thing is that you can set it to different colors other than green.

    I cant find the led setting in the menu at all.
