Making an app load on startup
I have a program called KeepScreen. It has the option to "turn service on or off". Could I set it so it turns the service on when the phone boots?

I don't think so. Usually it's up to the developers to choose whether or not the app starts up by itself. I recommend sending an email to the dev and see if (s)he knows anything.
