    VZW's 30 day return policy?

    My wife bought me a Droid the other day that I won't get till Christmas. She had to pay full retail due to us just getting 2 BB Tours in Sept. My question is, does the 30 day policy still work even though we bought it out of contract at full retail? I'm not gonna get rid of it, just don't want to get a faulty unit and not be able to replace it and have to pay the insurance premium.

    You have 30 days regardless of the circumstances of your purchase. Happened to me with a Curve last year. Exchange on day 19 was no issue at all.

    You can but a return/exchange incurs a $35 restocking fee (as stated on your receipt).

    Warranty would cover a faulty unit. Insurance covers damage/loss/theft/etc.
