Why doesn't the Maps app scroll with my location. I am always going off the end of the map and the map doesn't move. Works like this in the Car Dock also. In the Car Dock when using navigation the map follows my location.

try hitting my location when this occurs?
I agree... unless you are in Navi you get no continuous location update relative to the underlying map. Not a big deal to me, but it does expose a shortcoming in the function.
You have to hit the arrow (I believe it's an arrow--been a while) on the left (I believe) and that'll get it to scroll. Every so often I've done something which has turned off scrolling and this always gets me back.
I just did a test by walking outside my house and down the block. After I touched My Location, the map followed me. If you scroll the map or touch the screen at any point, the map stops following you, and you have to hit My Location again to center back on your point and follow.
Note: The blue arrow only appears if you are in Navigation Mode, not normal Maps mode.
-M
hit my location and it will follow.
