12-21-2009 06:30 PMWhat will the Q9M sync with? As rgn2000 mentioned, if you can get them into a CSV file (via whatever process) you can get them into gmail.

12-21-2009 07:24 PMThe Q9M syncs with outlook. You need to install activesync which came with your phone. If you don't have it you can probably download it. Just search for it and get the latest version. Then in outlook you export your contacts to Dos csv and import into gmail. Originally Posted by takeshi

12-22-2009 06:23 AMi dont get why you would have to be tied to your work email. You install google sync on your moto phone and run it and then when google syncs on your droid it will update the contact list as well. Am I missing something? Worked like a charm from my Blackberry and I was believing it would work just as well with the moto phone. I transferred over 100 contacts in less than one minute.

12-22-2009 06:26 AMjust an fyi, if you've relied on outlook for a long period of time, Google Calendar Sync will "error" out on appointments for a while until it has completely synced. there is a data limit per 24hrs, that causes Google Calendar Sync to create errors. Originally Posted by SamFox

12-22-2009 06:43 AMGoogle Sync will transfer everything from your Outlook to your Google contacts and then download them from Google to your phone. Simple as that.
