Android Gingerbread Version is 2.3

There has been a lot of talk about the next Android version, we have even heard about it being deemed Android 3.0 as well. Now, XDA member NoEnd wrote about an apparently confirmed new version: Gingerbread 2.3. According to the original poster’s source, the new Android version will come with much better power management, improved battery life, a new call button, and a new browser logo.
Also, a member posted on the thread a picture of Google head quarters with a Gingebread figure on the lawn.
