I believe this to be a fair review from someone who has a solid rep amongst the android community.
Still I see it a challenge to get it sold. Motorola's largest customers is verizon and the droid-line will make it hard to get traction on vzw. At&t I can not see the motorola x faring well against the n3, new iphone, or the devices already out. They may get sales on sprint but all in all I really think the motorola put themselves in a bad spot again releasing phones late. I think the X should have been released at the beginning of summer. Time will tell though.
Another solid review by him.
The only thing about the phone is it reminds me very much of my Nexus. I have yet to get my hands on one to demo, but just from reviews it seems like it wouldn't be a significant upgrade over my Nexus other than in battery life and overall smoothness. Screen, dimensions, and even looks are all very similar to the Nexus, so I'm sorta glad I picked up the s4 already. I'll check the X out when it releases, but I don't think I'm going to regret upgrading to the s4 for a second if I do go to see one in person.
I put the active notifications on my nexus (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ications&hl=en), I also put it on my n2. I added the moto x camera on my nexus as well . All the moto x commands work on google now so with my nexus or n2 I can say the "hey google now" commands. So for me I really do not see anything from the moto x that I do not have with my nexus or n2. With that said, I respect the person who feels that is the phone for them.
