Looks that way, I can't tell if discount is still there until I get my next bill.
Lol, "hi, I've got a half hour for lunch and I'd like to upgrade this line 4 times".
If so were you able to keep your plan the same other than add a 2GB plan to her line?
I have unlimited data on my line (upgrade eligible) and have 2 other lines with dumbphones this is an old plan. 1400 shared minutes/ 1000 txts/ $9.99 add a line
I would like to do something similar I would like to give her my Maxx and get a GN2 on my unlimited but don't want to be forced into family share for everyone. Any advice from would be appreciated
The wife's line was a smartphone already as we were both on Razrs. Your dumbphones curently dont have data on them unlessyou added it for the promo to grandfather the benefit.
If they do not have smartphone data on them and are full out dumbphone lines you may transfer the upgrade to that line butyou will need smartphone data added which is a base of 2GB for $30 and the discount would not be applied to that new amount. You could cancel the data if you bumped her back down to her dumbphone but it sounds like you would give her the Maxx.
So your bill would rise by $30 plus whatever taxes/fees you would have.
I wont know for sure until the next billing cycle. I had called them to confirm after transferring my phone upgrade and what not. They said it was still on there.
The issue with double checking is that it has never shown on my promo section of the website where you can view your plan and services. It is refelected as a line item on my bills though.
I have 5 lines on my account....my line is on a month to month contract so can I cancel it and everything else stay the same as far as plans? Just one less line....I got a work phone issued to me so I plan on porting my number via google voice to my work phone and cancelling my line on my family plan...just dont want any curves thrown at me when I call verizon to cancel.
Looks like everything stayed the same...even though I had to pick the 2gb plan when I upgraded my 3 lines they all stayed on unlimited data and kept my $20 discount. I just got my latest bill and all is good.
