    Intel Z2580 Sounds Good!

I don't know how new this is but I recently read about an Intel SOC that is supposed to be dual core at 1.8 Ghz. It has PowerVR SGX544MP2 at 533 MHz graphics and is geared towards tablets running Win 8. The Z2460 though is already out on the XOLO X900 smartphone running gingerbread so maybe the z2580 will eventually show up in Android smartphones... That would be sweet cause a dual core Intel processor at 1.8 Ghz dosn't sound to bad at all. Also I thought I should mention that I read on Ubergizmo that the Z2580 is 14 Nanometer! Whoa... Like I said I don't know how new all this is but it sounds pretty sweet...

Also important to note is that the single core Intel Medfield SOC i mentioned earlier, the Z2460, outperformed quad core ARM based smartphones on a few benchmarks run by Anandtech. If a single core Intel chip can outperform all these dual and quad core ARM phones then imagine what a Dual Core 14 nm 1.8Ghz SOC will be able to do! Thoughts?

Intel has an agreement with moto, and their processors are supposed to power moto devices in the coming year or sooner I believe. I hope so... I like Intel.

As I've been saying, Intel chips will be a game changer. Couple this with flexible screens, flexible willow glass... and wow, this next few years is going.to be taking on an entirely different shape for mobile devices... and this is just the start
