Android Tablets are not dead!
"The high-end Android tablets that are positioned right against the iPad (Moto Xoom, Samsung GalaxyTablet) are losing ground. Asus, Acer, and Toshiba, which have more of a value strategy, are hanging on."
My opinion: the sub-$100 Android 4.0 ICS Tablets are going to see a marked increase, and tracking their sales is going to be as difficult as tracking the sale of non-major brand PCs.
I am still very happy with mine: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/sho...d.php?t=207833

Unfortunately, the sub-$100 tablets don't usually get updates; people end up buying another sub-$100 tablet that comes with a newer version of Android :^)
Then again, if the sub-$100 tablet does what we purchased it for, why risk an upgrade?
My iDeaUSA CT 702 is still at Android 4.0.3, and does what I expect it to.
My Nexus 7 (which was over twice the CT 702 price) gets regular Android updates. But I am avoiding that JB 4.2 update; wish it would quit prompting me to update.
