One of the reasons why I started with Verizon back in the day (2006) was their selection of phones put everyone else to shame. That combined with their vastly superior coverage and reliability made it an easy choice.
But now they are completely neglecting one of the main reasons people used to go to Verizon...
So let me get this straight.
I too desperately want(ed) a Galaxy Note. But now it's been so long I will not buy a phone that's already behind the curve when we eventually, if ever, get it.
I've been with Verizon for 10+ years since I was pulling antennas out of Motorola's. I am grandfathered into $30/mnth unlimited data, as well as $30/month unlimited tether.
With this new Family share scam they are rolling out, I will lose my unlimited data? What about my unlimited tether data? Is the only way to stop from losing your unlimited data to PRE-order the GSIII? I generally like a hands on before I buy, but if it keeps my unlimited data (for how long I wonder) then I'll do it most likely. GRRRRRRR.
As for the HTC phablet. If you're going to mimic a phone that is successful becuase of it's screen size...... DON'T REDUCE THE SCREEN SIZE. 5"? It's like the Note's little brother. GO BIG(GER) OR GO HOME.
Anyway if anyone has any in fo on the unlimited tether in addition to the data, I'd greatly appreciate it so I don't have to call Verizon for a bunch of vague, generic answers.
