    What is Ice cream sandwich?

    Hi everyone, I do not know what "ice cream sandwich" means. Is it a new operating system? Do I have to be rooted?

    It's the next version of android and to get it quick yea but no eventually it'll be pushed to devices

    Android versions are always named after some desert and go in alphabetical order if I wasn't on my phone id link some more info on it but the versions thus far have been

    Cupcake
    Donut
    Eclair
    Froyo
    Gingerbread
    Honeycomb
    Ice cream sandwich

    And next will be jelly bean the first two versions never had an official codename

    The real question is what comes after jellybean? Not too many "K" desserts. Maybe Key Lime Pie? I don't think Klondike can work since its trademarked. Who else has one?
