HTC Vigor, Samsung Galaxy S2, or DROID Bionic. What do you want?

So with these 3 phones arriving sooner than later I'd like to start up a little discussion on which of these you have your eyes on!
Heres some specs so you can have some food for thought:
Droid BIONIC:
1GHz OMAP4430 dual-core
8 megapixels (3266 x 2450 w/ 1080p video)
VGA Fixed Focus front facing camera
Android 2.3.4
1GB RAM
4.3-inch qHD display
HDMI 1.4
Webtop Access
4G LTE

HTC Vigor:
720x1280p display
Android 2.3.4
dual-core 1.5 ghz Qualcomm processor
Qualcomm Adreno 3D graphics accelerator
(thats all we've got)

Samsung Galaxy S2:
400x800 Super AMOLED+ display
1.2 ghz dual-core exynos processor
1gb of RAM
1650 mAh battery
8 mp 1080p rear facing camera
2 mp front facing camera.

So with the BIONIC confirmed with 4g LTE, and googles supporting TI-OMAP4430 processor, and that zesty webtop will that be the device for you? or te mysterious yet powerful sounding HTC Vigor be your phone of choice. And you cant forget the Galaxy S2. With touchwiz a beautiful screen, and that powerful processor. Are these phones in your sights or are you waiting for something else like the nexus prime, or a quad core device?

I have an upgrade later this month so i've been putting a lot of thought into all of this. I'm most interested in the HTC Vigor because i'm a big fan of Sense 3.0 UI, although considering the minimal amount of information on it, it doesn't look like its arriving any time soon. Between the SGS2 and Droid Bionic, SGS2 is most likely going to be here before the Bionic but the choice I make will probably rely on whether it has 4G or not. No 4G, i'm going with the Bionic

Yeah the Vigor sounds pretty sweet as well but if you upgrade in early 2011 you COULD get one of those newfangled quad-core monsters, like the rumored Motorola Jet/Bullet. But really dual-core is nothing to sneeze about and I would never let a rumored quad-core device opinionate my phone because... well... it's a phone! I think the 720p display on the Vigor will certainly be a huge selling point in my humble opinion.

I'm interested in the Bionic because there are known things about it and it's coming in September. The Vigor could be coming next year for all we know, and we don't know much about the Verizon version of the SGSII, but if it's anything like the Euro version just with LTE, I'll consider it, but the low resolution and lack of LED notification light put it on the back burner.

From those spec's i would pick the Vigor hands down. I have a feeling the Bionic is going to be a major let down to a lot of people that have been waiting, or it will be shortly outdated by better devices.

SGS2 has no notification light? What do you do?

I will buy each of them off contract, see which one I like best, then throw the other two away. Then when another new phone comes out, I will buy it as well, off contract, try it out, then throw one away.

Thats one approach. Quick question, how can you afford to do that? thats got to be pretty expensive. easily $2000+ on 4 phones.:icon_eek:
