Motorola Droid Bionic 4G XT875 Updated Specs

I wont speak for everyone but my Droid 3 is getting about 12 - 14 hours on a charge and that's being very easy on it's battery and turning of the global radio.

If the battery life isn't improved somehow they won't have to worry about 2 phones competing for sales because no-one is gonna want the D3. I would have thought that in the 2 years since I got my og Droid battery life could have been improved, not gotten worse.

Probably something to do with too many running services...Have you checked? One guy I knew with an atrix never checked and now that he did and stopped unneeded crapware, battery life went up since there was so much crap running originally.

What do You mean gotten worse? Before root my battery lasted 1 hour on heavy usage or about 7 on normal. Since root its 4 hours on heavy usage and 18 hours on normal usage. So how is 12 - 14 hours worse? I'd take that in a heart beat?

Either someone is A in a bad service area B is trolling C doesnt know how to manage battery.

Our demo phone that is activated and being used throughout the day is at 50% with 1day and 3hours.


Of course its not full brightness and the timeout isnt set for 10minutes but seriously 1 hour hard core use i highly doubt it.... just my 2cents

I even get 5 hours of hard use on my T-bolt & 10 hours of light to moderate use on stock battery
