    Droid X2 Official release dates and specs

    So yesterday I found the Droid X 2 in the vzw systems with release dates and specs. Thought I would post them here.

    Online order release date - May 19th.

    Retail Stores - May 26th.

    Differences between X and X 2?

    Dual Core Processor
    Qhd screeen

    Same ram
    Still running 2.2
    8GB SD Card
    Still has 8GB internal memory

    Any other questions I can check at work today.

    Release dates don't account for potential delays.

    Its a 1ghz nvidia tegra dual core.

    Camera upgrade for rapidshot, supposed to be 44% faster.

    Also it has a 1080p mirror mode on the hdmi port, something the original x should have had.

    Damn...just seen it's only gonna have 512MB of RAM for sure. There were reports of 768MB but I guess that was wrong. Oh well.

    Hey!

    I have the Droid X with media dock and car dock - is the X2 compatible with those accessories? By the images, it *looks* as if I won't need to upgrade/purchase new docks? Can you confirm?

    I can't confirm the dimensions until tomorrow but our images have it looking identical to the current droid x.
