HELP!!!!! The screen on my droid x is all black!!!

ok so i rooted my droid x about a month ago. im running liberty 2.0 with the blacked out gingerbread theme. my phone is TURNED ON everything still works but my screen is all black. when i turn it on i can still feel it vibrate by touching the lockscreen and everything so i know its on and working...its just the screen is COMPLETELY black. any help on how to fix it!!??? please

I've seen this before described as a bad digitizer. Where you can still get the haptic feedback, like on the lock screen, but thats all you get. If this is the case, the only options are to have it(the digitizer) replaced or have your warranty coverage it, if it's still under warranty. Not saying that's the problem, just what I've seen.

btw my phone was dead for about 3 days and i plugged in my phone to my charger, charged for about an hour, and it was EXTREEMLY hot!!!! like burning hot. then i turned my phone on and i cant see anything at all.

If the phone still functions then you should be able to see the screen. Put it at like a 15° angle and the screen should be viewable (albeit VERY dark), but viewable none the less.

Like said above, you're gonna have to get it fixed or replaced.
