New Droid user with a Droid to PC question

Hi everyone. I recently dumped my BlackBerry addiction for a Droid addiction and couldnt be happier. I have been playing around with the apps and features and I am truly impressed. J did have one question.

AT&T offers a U-verse connection for $10/mo. I was thinking of subscribing, but don't know if I would watch too much on my phone. However, if I could get the picture to show on my PC, I might even consider getting rid of my cable. Is this even possible?

I suppose it could be possible if your phone has HDMI out. But I bet the quality is terrible when outputting to a TV.

Also, u verse is a service offered FOR TVs as well, it just costs more than the mobile version. That said, id be willing to bet that AT&T took the safeguards to prevent anyone from doing precisely what youre trying to do.
