HTC invests $40 million into OnLive

HTC is investing $40 million with the cloud gaming experts, OnLive, to help the ever so growing demand; games on smartphones. HTC also announced it has acquired London-based Saffron Digital for about $48.6 million. It said the buyout shouldn't affect deals with its current content partners including Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, and Samsung.

OnLive should still reach out to as many platforms as possible, but expect the HTC version to be a little better than others.

    Source (Engadget)

Anyone excited for the turn out of $40 million into games?
Should be enough to get things rollin' in the right direction.

Forget games. Manufacturers should invest all their money into hardware such as better cameras or super high resolution screens.

Exactly what do you expect from a less than centimeter wide lens with the hardware for processing your pictures almost smaller than the cpu in your phone (if not emulated)?
