Is it possible to bring back HTML email viewing for MS Exchange email on FROYO?

The modified Email.apk for ese81 (I believe) was awesome....HTML viewing plus signature ability on all your email replies and forwards. Since moving to 2.2 FROYO this no longer works. I definitely needed HTML for work. I tried installing the Email.apk into FROYO roms and it just force closes like crazy.

I still have this Email.apk saved on an old Bugless Beast V1.1 backup if anyone knows where to start....I sure dont.
