Did anybody use Universal Android Root to root there droid?
First off, its free unlike EasyRoot.
Second, it Roots the droid on all android versions.
And went perfectly smooth on mine too.

Yeah..I manually updated to 2.2 non rooted...then I used UniversalAndroid Root...and with one button I was rooted...then I installed Bugless Beast V.4.
so this works perfectly on Droid 1? and whats the catch?
if thats the case why not DMUpdater does the same as universal root

That's what I'm tryin to figure out...why would you pay for easy root when this is free.Its been working really good. Plus I didn't have to install BusyBox for some functions that easyroot asks for..
And yes I have Droid 1.
Dmupdate?? Maybe another kept secret haha
where can i get universal androot??? I looked over the site for a link but no luck... TIA.
