Okay, all the time I see people asking how to learn android development and asking for classes and such. Well, I have compiled () it down to 5 steps.

    1. Learn Java (I recommend you watch , best around)

    2. Download Android SDK

    3. Promise Me You Will Not Publish One Of The Following:
    - Sexy Girls app
    - Sudoku
    - Any Kind Of Image Puzzle Game

    4. Learn Android Deving (Google did a great job showing what the SDK could do (and how to do it) or I HIGHLY recommend this series of books)

    5. Make an Application

    Thank you for this.

Checked out the book you linked... #3 and #4 kind of contradict each other... the book discription says "From there, you'll build up a more substantial example: an Android Sudoku game."

Maybe I could do a word search game instead... or crossword puzzle (although I have no idea how to create one even though I like to do them, it would have the boxes needed)...
I'm not a Sudoku person myself. I've noticed there are plenty of those games on there as I skip past them to find other games.
