I have access to the App inventor & I am wondering what people want to see for Apps such as apps that already out or new fresh ideas so just throw me some ideas ...

My wife cuts out coupons. I would love to be able to scan the coupon into the phone. Then when we go to the store, scan the product and have the phone let you know if you have a coupon for it. Have no idea if it is even possible..

How about an app/browser that when connected to your home network you can flick to your home pc and continue viewing on the pc. Can't tell you how many times at home I have wanted to just send what I am looking at on my phone to my pc without have to email myself the link. If there is something out there that does this I am all ears.

There is and it works with Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera
It is called LinkPush (it also has a Google Talk Bot)

I can't wait to get my invite to that App Builder program. I won't be a tool that floods the market with pointless apps, but I DO want to make some pointless apps for myself!

You know, once you build that, why not expand on it, make a POS system.

Once you get inventory maintainability down, should be no problem to be able to create a system in which you could scan the barcode(s) and create a receipt and take payment. I would work on a good inventory man. app first.

And maybe be able to expand on that inventory management app. Allow to edit inventory, create shrinkage reports, create need reports, create inventory flow. Stuff that a big business could use, you could make some serious rake.

But for alot of the small business owners, being able to capture signature and payment in one app that they can carry with them at all times, create a digital reciept and be able to email that to themselves, and the customer for warranty and tax purposes, would be fantastic. Its going to take you alot of time, but if done right, i dont see it being crazy that you couldnt charge at least 150 to 200 for that app. I would KILL for that app for my father in law!!!!

Some other ideas would be,
1.Easy rebate mailer: Make it so you can scan the barcode, serial number, then reciept, and have the capability of creating a pdf that you can export so that way all you have to do is print and mail. Retailers would kill for that sort of thing!!! Takes all the work out of paperwork!!!

2.Wireless/Bluetooth Picture printing application. I know that with alot of different Os builds, bluetooth printing is built in. Creating an application that has easy network printing, via wireless/bluetooth. would make it alot easier for workplaces to be able to print wirelessly through their device. That way they don't have to waste time by logging on, checking the doc, and then having to wait for printer spooling. One click, CACHAOW!!!!!

Those are just some ideas, hit me up if you want a few more, lol.

Ok another idea. How about an app to show your signal in dBm in the status bar? Been looking for this one. I just want a live dBm reading up there. And hopefully isn't running when the screen shuts off to save battery life.

Edit: there is an app called real signal that does almost the same thing but it doesn't show the dBm reading. Tried contacting but to no avail.
