I asked about this some time ago and never saw much more from it.
I want something akin to Google Sky Maps, expect I want it to be able to show me where the sun will be at any given time/date. As a photographer this would be invaluable. Find a great location mid day and determine where the sun would be during the "golden hours" before sunrise and at/after sunset.
Default to current date and show sunrise and sunset similar to how GSM shows something you've searched for. (A circle with an arrow directing you where to point the phone.)

Rooted and Running Ultimate Droid 6.5
Lol, I would really like to see an app that can add the reboot option to the power menu for official vzw roms, or some other creative way to reboot the phone without too many clicks. I use quickboot but I sometimes reboot by accident.
yes PLEASE!!! a fantasy baseball app would be amazing. doesnt even necessarily have to be for a certain website or be able to edit your lineup but at the least it would be nice to be able to see how your team is doing. basically you select all the players on your team and it grabs all their stats for the night/week and then it has the totals. this would be fantastic
or another thing i saw on the market a tivo remote that would be nice if someone could make a remote work with directv
I like the signal strength for wifi idea...maybe a radar sweep to see how far away you are from the towers.
I have a few Awesome new Ideas can I know will make money, I dont have the ability to create apps. I am looking for somone, or a Company I can contract to build one for me. Does anyone know of one?
I understand that Chad Ochocinco (football player, Dancing With the Stars) has a crew doing apps, if you can contact him. Maybe in twitter or facebook.
I constantly notice the 3G arrows are lit up in the notification bar when I look at my Droid. This tells me that data is constantly being sent/received. Not that I care as to exactly how much data because I have an unlimited data plan, but how do I know that I didn't install some seemingly benign kids game that is in actuality a rouge app that is using my Droid as a proxy to launch bot attacks against the FBI or something. (No, I'm not paranoid...why? What did you hear?)
I would like to have an app that would tell me what programs (ex. Yahoo Messenger) are using data, how much data within a date range (ex. Yahoo messenger used 47MB this month), and whom they are communicating with (hostnames or ip addresses)? Not down to the packet level or anything ridiculous, but I would like to know what is going on under the hood of my 3G connection.
And this information would displayed via the app UI, could be exported (emailed), and be stored in a text log file on the SD card.
I would be willing to pay up to $5 USD for this app with lifetime updates.
I don't know if there's an app for this, I just saw the thread for the iPantry to keep track of food in your kitchen. That made me think of other inventory for homes people may want.
I remember when my coworkers husband retired years ago, he put all their DVD's in his palm pilot so they would have a list and not buy duplicates. I thought that was a good idea. Even though people are now going online and such, some still buy dvd's (I do).
So really any household inventory that people need.
How about a Gift giving list app? sometimes I see something that would be good for someone and would like to remember or they mention something and I can put it in this app.
Is there a Christmas Present app? To keep track of buying presents for people? Some buy ahead. Some just need to remember in the rush of things. Maybe the Christmas one could go in the general one too...
Maybe a received gifts section?
