Need an IR remote app

If it does have an IR sensor, there could be a ton of apps for remote control stuff! It could be a whole new range of Droid Does :-)

I don't think there is an api that allows the control of the ir sensor and thus no apps can utilize it.

Do you know if the Camera "hard Button" can be accessed and reprogrammed for other functions? Would make a nice Voice Call button ,etc.

Once rooted, prob. Now, not a chance.

Understand. Once that can be accessed it could be used for lots of fun stuff. A simple app to assign "whatever" to that button would be handy. So far I always use the soft cam button and the hard button is a waste for now.

I like the cam button, but coming from a storm I did like being able to map all of the buttons.
