baseband downgrade

didnt know where to post this, and havent seen it here yet. for those of you having trouble with the .3p basband... here ya go. Black Droid Mod -> Download Manager -> Rooting Tools -> Baseband Downgrade to .01P (update.zip)
mods, please put this where it will be of the most help to people.

I'm curious to try this... after upgrading to the new baseband I got less 3G signal (Had 4 bars at home, dropped to 2-3) and I also got issues where I'm on 3G and it just drops to 1X out of nowhere. This never happened prior to updating the baseband when the 2.1 update came out initially.

Does anyone have a link to this update.zip that isn't from BD?

It works like a charm. Ran it last night. Don't worry about the blackdroid thing. Its not by him. He is just hosting it on his site.

Thanks, I found the actual update from another user on this forum.
I'm tempted to do this now but I'm testing something so it will have to wait a few days. I'm looking specifically to see if it fixes the issue where I toggle between 3G and 1X. I never had this problem at home (4 bars of 3G) until this week, where I'd be at my desk and it would just drop to 1X out of nowhere.
