I've tried flashing 2.0.6 multiple times tonight to no avail. I'm stick with 2.0.5 since 2.0.6 won't boot past the Moto logo and re-boot cycles endlessly.

Have you seen the changelog? I haven't heard what's new.

That didn't work for me. Maybe I have the "lost root" problem others were reporting. I'm not interested in re-flashing anything but I would like DMUpdater to work so I have the easy option in the future.

Just flashed 2.0.6 with no problems here...Just wish I could figure out why my weather widgets won't work now

I had the same problem. I had to remove widget placeholder that showed error and re-add. Most of the widgets I had were like this.

Flashed to 2.0.6. Works great. Great work.

My Droid was "cooked" so to speak and the battery life was all out of wack from overclocking to 1 GHZ so I unrooted and that did the trick. I couldn't keep away though so I rooted again and saw that DMUpdater was up... so one thing led to another... 2.0.6 OC 800 MHZ this time. Gotta stay cool.

Funny note: I tried to swap my newly unrooted droid for a new one a Verizon but they said most of the Droids were experiencing this overheating and battery issues and they are trying to figure out why but couldn't exchange it because they all do it. I guess a lot of people are overheating their Droids by overclocking and then unrooting them and trying to exchange them.

The actual number of 'rooted' users vs. non rooted is very small. There have been people, who haven't rooted, that have experienced extreme heat with their Droid.

So, 2.0.6. Any noticeable new features or same stuff?

Found it odd that when I was on 2.0.3 and overclocked to 800 MHz, that my battery would drain fast.

2.0.5 and overclocked at 1.1 G Hz and my battery is great. Haven't charged in about a day and as of right now it's at 20%.

Can't wait to see what 2.0.6 does.
