Sholes Team Quitting??????

I do think that thread really reflects poorly on the alldroid community. Best to let sleeping dogs lie IMO, not to let the users all pile on and basically alienate the users on there that support the sholes.info guys...

May have a point, there is always two sides to a story. Maybe a full forum where people are bugging them every 5 mins about repeat question may be keeping them from development. But maybe a place where it is closed by a mod and only a mod can just bring up repeat problems. The reason I suggested that, because on the day Camel was here you could see he was getting frustrated by repeat questions.
That way the community can deal with the minor simple fixes, and we only bother the dev about a repeat problem so he can look at it and fix it with out getting an email every 5 min of a person asking "how to use the app".

I am not saying either side is right or wrong, and the thread is gone now, but that was pretty much a public humiliation of the guys who have done a ton of work in every rom out there. Look over the guys accomplishments, everything is them, without sholes what do you think mods would be right now? 5 screens and very few apps, if they didn't do it, they were a driving force behind it...

Then, when it all falls apart they let the entire board rip the guys? That's just crap to me, sorry, I don't think you do that to the biggest douche there, less the guys who have helped everyone.

That thread also had a ton of posts deleted, there was stuff said there that was just unreal and the mods, who seem to be really ban-happy, just laughed and let it go...

any chance the mods could change the title of this to Sholes team leaving alldroid or something like that... I have noticed too many people don't read the threads and just scan the titles, and a title like this does have an effect on peoples judgement.

Sholes will keep doing what they do. Thank god! On the other hand, I'm really concerned about Taz. I think he's had enough. I read something about him maybe coming back after a month, or otherwise deleting his work.

Of course, I don't really know what happened. While I'm thoroughly addicted to both AllDroid and DroidForums, this all happened so quick and all the threads where deleted/locked before I got to read them. Bummer, I know.

Driodforums has contacted Sholes this morning. We will attempt to see if they are even interested in another forum, and if DF could fit thier needs. There is nothing else to say about that yet.
