As a follow-up to this course announcement, I wanted to let people know that at the conclusion of the course, O'Reilly and Google gave away phones to some (maybe all?) of the attendees. My free Motorola Droid just arrived on Saturday. I had a chance at either the N1 or Droid and ended up getting the Droid. Completely unlocked and ready to add a plan from Verizon or for use at home on the WiFi, contract free.

They are offering another course next month - not sure if phones will be given away at the conclusion of that course or not? Definitely worth signing up for though!
