Cydia like app suggestions.

I'm not looking for the "its called the market" answer.

I'm not sure where this should go, but is someone working on or going to work on an application that works like cydia? By works like cydia I mean an application that has themes, Roms, applications for rooted users, and customization options all put into a well organized application.

As much as every user hates to admit it, the society needs to grow and to do that we need to make everything more userfriendly and versitile. I recommend an app like cydia where you just download one thing and it supplies applications by many creates and is monitored for viruses and spam. Any thoughts?

Port a package manager then get the masses to dev for dpkg or w. e you port...... Not gonna happen any time soon but rom manager has stuff like your saying.

I guess it was kinda nice to have everything together in Cydia. The problem with doing the same for android is you have so many devices, and so many places to download _real_ apps to begin with. Apple is just different, they get everything from pretty much 1 place. Android is broader and spread out, and I don't think everyone would dump everything into a droid wouldn't know what was done with them ... Like done tons judy done want to be in rom manager.
