    Your best bet would be to learn how to do it the old fashion way.

    One click will get you rooted eventually, but the is no 1 click method of unbricking your device. Everyone modding should know what they are doing before voiding there warranty.

    Rooting isn't that hard with the latest methods. You seriously don't have the time in your day (5 minutes), to root with the latest methods?

    I have the OTA Gingerbread and would like to get rooted Gingerbread by sbfing back to froyo 2.3.340, and do a factory reset, get back on 2.2.1 and root it with Z4Root and install the Droid 2 Bootstrap recovery and install the two part patched update but I still haven't found any detailed step-by-step instructions that tell me exactly how to do all of that.

    I am looking for a dumbed down step by step. I am relatively tech savvy, I just don't want to make any rookie mistakes.
