I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit onto a new computer and I am trying to get my development platform set up. I have one working fine on a 32-bit version of Ubuntu 10.04 on another machine.
Well I have the Eclipse software (Galileo 64-bit version), JDK (1.5.0_22 64-bit version), the Android SDK, and the 32-bit libraries installed. I have adb working and I can connect to my phone. My problem is with the ADT Plugin for Eclipse.
When I go to the Help -> Install New Software... window and put in the location of the ADT Plugin (https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/) the part of the page that should allow me to pick the stuff I want to download in blank. If I click on the "Available Software Sites" link it shows my ADT Plugin entry with the correct location and it is marked as being Enabled.
Has anyone else run into this problem? How were you able to get arround it?
