its called opkg, right now it has little support and it has no gui. so its all done though terminal..
& there are about 2 packages available for download including a hello world app.
I will do some research on it now. I used to develop on the ios operating system and am slowly making my change to the android os. I have come to find that developing on ios is much different than developing natively for android. I wish that android would use repositories for market because It expands the horizon for ciders who do not want to pay for a regular market dev cost and promotes open source in some way.

i just want a 3rd party packaging system because it would make user modification easier.
