    Debian market

    I was wondering if it is possible to create a debian repository system market for droid like cydia on iphone? Is it possible?

    its called opkg, right now it has little support and it has no gui. so its all done though terminal..

    & there are about 2 packages available for download including a hello world app.

    I will do some research on it now. I used to develop on the ios operating system and am slowly making my change to the android os. I have come to find that developing on ios is much different than developing natively for android. I wish that android would use repositories for market because It expands the horizon for ciders who do not want to pay for a regular market dev cost and promotes open source in some way.

    i just want a 3rd party packaging system because it would make user modification easier.
    sucks that jay freeman or anyone for that matter isn't working on dpkg for android
