Flash for Android & Possible App Integration?

I have heard that the iPhone will have Flash integrated not only into its browser, but into its apps, giving Flash programmers the ability to create iPhone apps in 100% flash, no new language learning required.

I know that we are supposed to get a flash player for Andriod during the first half of 2010, do you guys know or think that they will integrate it into app development?

Where did you hear that? There was an official announcement some months ago that Android would get Flash first and that the IPhone would NOT be getting it anytime soon.

Agreed with sshguru, there had been a lot of news with adobe not being too happy of apple not letting them develop flash for the iphone

Not the greatest article (did a quick search) but pretty much sums it up. iPhone = no Flash (at least until they overcome some development issues) and Android = YES FLASH! Adobe’s Flash 10 for Android: A big win for mobile web apps | VentureBeat

Being a flash developer myself let me clarify a few things.
1. The iPhone will not have flash in there browser
2. Flash Cs5 will now all developers to compile flash App for the iPhone by converting as code to native c code for the iPhone.
3. Android, palm and window devices will receive flash in the browser early 2010.

Oohh okay, that is very interesting I did not know you could convert to C with flash cs5. Wow.

I still wonder if we will be able to make apps using flash for android, maybe it is too early to tell.

Someone from Adobe has posted a video showing flash 10.1 running on Android 2.1 on the new Nexus One no less. Looks very smooth.

Hunt around. It's 5 minutes of utter boringness, but it does show at least one flash game with some really nice graphics and then talks about Flash ads --blah.

Yeah its out there. In time young padawan. In the demo video the dude is playing flash games via websites, so it makes sense to see dedicated flash games in the market.

I saw that the SDK component for 2.1 has been released, so developers who know what they are doing can probably figure out at this point how to integrate flash into applications. Anyone that understands the SDK changes to 2.1 have any thoughts about this that might be helpful to a flash developer? :-)
