I figured instead of starting a new thread Ill just bump this. Anyone know how to roll back Linux? Appearently I "upgraded" to an unstable version (see above) lol and Id like to get back to 10.10 without undoing everying Ive setup lol.
I don't believe you can undo a dist-upgrade, you will simply have to deal with what you have and fix the issue your having or re-install. I personally upgraded my 64bit installation of Ubuntu and lost my sudo password in the process (I believe this is your issue..but it could be something else).
I have not had time to repair sudo or even find out why it is no longer functional. Can you run "sudo gedit" and have a root gedit window appear?
Yeah you won't be able to rollback once you upgraded. You'll either have to wait for an update that stabilizes the release or start over. You can do a backup though so you don't lose your setup...
