NuB looking for some assistance

Hello everyone, I'm just getting started in droid development, so far I downloaded the sdk, and everything needed, I did the lovely 'hello world' example and now I'm ready to do an app.

here is what i'm looking to do (I have part of this working)
I'm looking to have 3 - 4 tabs in the top of my app
when a user clicks on a tab I want to open a webview with a web page in it, however I do not want to show the browsers address bar, only the web page. I have 2 tabs on my app but I can't open my webView or anything else like that,

also, where is the best site, books, etc that I can read to do droid development?
